Wumty is a small, focused team building website solutions for service businesses - roofers, plumbers, dentists, lawyers, and every trade in between. We believe every local business deserves a website that loads instantly, ranks on Google, and generates leads without monthly subscriptions or technical complexity.

We’re remote-first, async by default, and obsessed with shipping quality work. Our stack is Astro, SolidJS, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript - all deployed as static sites on modern CDN infrastructure.

Open Roles

Full-Stack Engineer (Astro / TypeScript)

Build and maintain the template system, content collections, and shared component architecture that powers every Wumty solution. You’ll work across the monorepo - from Astro layouts and SolidJS islands to the build pipeline and deployment tooling.

What you’ll do:

  • Ship new industry solution templates (roofing, dental, legal, etc.)
  • Build and optimize shared layout components
  • Improve the schema generation, SEO toolkit, and performance systems
  • Write content collection schemas with Zod validation
  • Deploy and monitor production sites

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years building production websites
  • Strong TypeScript and CSS skills
  • Experience with Astro, Next.js, or similar static/SSR frameworks
  • Understanding of web performance and SEO fundamentals
  • Comfort working async in a remote team

Content & SEO Specialist

Create industry-specific website content that ranks. You’ll write service pages, blog posts, FAQ content, and structured data for 20+ industries - each with unique terminology, customer pain points, and search patterns.

What you’ll do:

  • Write and optimize industry solution page content
  • Research keywords and search intent per industry
  • Build internal linking strategies across the solution catalog
  • Create blog content that drives organic traffic
  • Audit and improve structured data coverage

What we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years in content marketing or technical SEO
  • Experience writing for service businesses (home services, legal, dental, etc.)
  • Understanding of on-page SEO, schema markup, and content strategy
  • Strong writing skills - clear, direct, no fluff
  • Data-driven approach to content decisions

Designer (UI/UX & Marketing)

Design the templates, marketing pages, and visual assets that make Wumty look like a premium product. You’ll create template layouts, OG images, product mockups, and the design system that ties everything together.

What you’ll do:

  • Design new industry template layouts
  • Create marketing visuals - hero images, OG images, product mockups
  • Maintain and evolve the design token system (colors, typography, spacing)
  • Design dark mode variants for all components
  • Create before/after mockups and demo site visuals

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years in UI/UX design for web
  • Strong portfolio showing production website design
  • Experience with Figma and design-to-code workflows
  • Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and web performance
  • Ability to create both marketing visuals and functional UI components
